  • What Games Are H.O.R.S.E Players The Best At?

You get a diverse mix of skill levels when you play H.O.R.S.E poker. This will also vary from table to table so there are no solid numbers. I have found that the higher you go in stakes the more well rounded players are. I don’t think there has ever been on study on how good at each game the average H.O.R.S.E poker player is. I certainly don’t have the means to figure it out. I would imagine it would just be a matter of analyzing hand data from a few thousand players but I’ve decided to take an easier approach. I’m just going to go with my gut instincts on this one. Below you will find several charts covering small stakes, medium stakes and high stakes HORSE poker action. I have made a chart so you can what skill level each number indicates.

Small Stakes H.O.R.S.E Poker Skill Levels

You will find the worst players at the small stakes tables. This is true with any poker game of course. As i mentioned above these are stats that I am just pulling out of my head. Every player has different experiences so you may feel my numbers are way off but I would imagine that overall they are pretty close to the truth.

Medium Stakes H.O.R.S.E Poker Skill Levels

As you can see from the chart below the average skill lever for each game has increased quite a bit but there is still a lot of money to be made if you are a well rounded player. I would imagine at the average medium Omaha Hi-Lo table the average skill level is around 70. That should give you a good idea of why HORSE can be so profitable. You are winning money due to the collective mistakes of all the other players at the table for each game.

High Stakes H.O.R.S.E Poker Skill Levels

The high stakes tables is where you will find the most well rounded players. These numbers are still probably lower than what you will find at the high stakes tables for each individual game though. Every poker player has a weak spot, even the professional players you watch at Full Tilt.
