  • Soft 8-Game Poker Action At Stars

The stakes are $4/8 and the game  is 8-Game Poker. These players absolutely suck! I’m up around $600 since last night and my bankroll is still growing.  One player is especially bad, kuhns89. He doesn’t seem to know how to play 27 Triple Draw or any of the Stud poker games at all.  He will raise post draw every time in Triple Draw and then draw 3! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if you are not playing 8-game poker at Pokerstars you should be.

The donk mentioned above isn’t the only player that can’t seem to figure out how games are played. There has been several instances while playing Razz that a player was raising with pairs. You don’t even have to be good at all of the 8 games in order to win, you just need to know how to play them.

For Full Tilt players that are unfamiliar with this game here is a little background info. 8-Game Poker, A.K.A 8-Game Mix, is a mixed poker game only offered at Pokerstars. As the name signifies there are 8 different games.  Apart from having more games it is slightly different from H.O.R.S.E and other mixed games because each rotation only lasts 6 hands. Below are the games that are included.
    T – Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

    H- Limit Texas Hold’em

O – Limit Omaha Eight or Better (Hi/Lo)

    R – Razz Poker

S – Limit Seven Card Stud

E – Limit Stud Eight or Better (Hi/Lo)

    H – No Limit Texas Hold’em

    A – Pot Limit Omaha
