  • MiniFTOPS HORSE Poker Results

ftplrpFull Tilt Poker (Read Review) hosted their H.O.R.S.E poker event yesterday and it was one of the largest online mixed game tournaments I’ve ever played in. This tournament was part of their MiniFTOPS (Mini Full Tilt Online Poker Series) but don’t let the title fool you, it was anything but “mini”.  A record breaking 1,789 players competed in this event. The buy-in was only $55+5 and Full Tilt offered a guaranteed prize pool of $60,000. The final prize pool exceeded the guarantee by $29,450 which can probably be explained by the huge popularity of mixed poker games in 2009.

Almost 1,800 players battled it out for nearly 7 hours to win a piece of the $89,450 prize pool but only 224 players walked away winners. Below is a list of the top 10 finishers along with what they cashed.

    1. Oheo Gulch $17,263
    2.  maxima9919 $10,734
    3. Mr Blankey $7,334
    4. KY Plum $4,919
    5. Gammon45 $3,399
    6. CRAZYJOHNY $2,325
    7. mrcall912 $1,610
    8. jadis_bajer $1,109
    9. trueyalose $805
    10. antoine77 $805

There were a total of 20 Full Tilt Pro’s playing in each event and none of them managed to hit the prize pool. This is surprising because based on the general odds of hitting the prize pool (one out of eight) at least 2.5 Pro’s should have cashed.

Full Tilt offers a bounty on their Pro’s so the 20 in this event added basically added another $1,000 to the prize pool. When you knock a “Red Pro” out of a tourney at Full Tilt you will receive the buy-in amount as a bonus.  Below is a list of the Red Pro’s that played in this H.O.R.S.E poker tournament along with their results:

    • Karina Jett – 255th
    • Cyndy Violette – 304th
    • S Gromenkova – 326th
