  • Introducing Rush Poker at Full Tilt

Tired of grinding the same old poker game, day in and day out? Same here. Luckily, the team at Full Tilt poker have just released an incredible new game: Rush Poker. I’ve been haunting the Rush tables non-stop for the past few days, and I’m hooked. If you’re like me, Rush Poker is the solution to your poker boredom.

What’s the deal with Rush Poker?

Rush Poker is not an entirely new game of poker. You don’t need to re-learn any rules or pick up any new lingo if you want to play. It’s simply regular poker, but injected with mescaline and plopped on a treadmill.

Rush gives you the ability to breeze through any hands you don’t want to play. No more waiting. No more painful delays at the hands of timebank-loving dummies. Here’s how it works.

    The Structure of Rush Poker

Joining a Rush Poker game secures you a spot in a large player pool. Once you sit down, you’re placed at a table with a group of opponents, all randomly selected from the player pool. Each hand you play will be against an entirely new group of random players. This is awesome in many ways-we’ll explore that later on.

Once you’re dealt a hand, you can immediately choose to fold. No need to wait for your turn to act. If you’re dealt crap, just press the button labeled “quick fold”, and you’re outta there. Once you quick fold, you’ll be removed from the table, and placed at a new one-with a new group of new random players-where you’ll be dealt in immediately.

For example, a series of hands might go something like this:

    • You’re dealt 72 offsuit in middle position.
    • You press quick fold.
    • You’re removed from the table and seated at a new one, where you’re dealt J4 offsuit in early position.
    • You press quick fold.
    • Scotty beams you up and out-new table, new opponents, and a new hand. AA on the button.
    • You make awesome plays and stack fish with your rockets.

All of this happens in the span of 30 seconds. Think about that-what once would have taken at least 3 minutes can now go down in 1/6th of the time. You can play more hands that you actually want to play in a shorter span of time. Rush Poker isn’t a far cry from regular poker in terms of rules; but it really is a game-changing structure.

    The Upside of Rush Poker

The benefits of Rush Poker are many and varied:

    • Speed. More hands in less time = higher hourly rate for you.
    • Random opponents. No more playing against guys who’ve got 2,000,000 hands worth of player statistics popped up on their screens. Rush Poker makes the game more about the cards than the players. In a way, it’s what poker should be!
    • More fish. Naturally, action junkies will flock to the Rush Poker tables. In fact, they already are. The regular-paced poker pool is drying up, but an ocean of guppies is popping up at the Rush tables.
    • More FUN! Really, this is reason enough to try out Rush Poker. It’s legitimately fun, even for the most seasoned grinder.

There’s really no downside to making the switch. Even if it’s not going to be your regular game, you should at least give Rush Poker a shot. The player pool right now is soft and ripe for the picking; there’s profit to be had at every single table.

Why not grab a share of it, and have an incredible time doing so? Rush Poker is booming, and it’s probably here to say. Might as well strap in and enjoy the ride-turbo style!
