  • Huge HORSE Poker Tournament Overlay At Stars

Tonight’s big $200 +$15 H.O.R.S.E poker tournament at Pokerstars started with only 192 players which means there is an overlay of $11,600 (buy-in fee is not factored in).  This means that only $38,400 got put into the prize pool and Pokerstars is going to pay out $50,000! I know the buy-in to this HORSE poker tournament may seem pretty steep to many people but just think about the EV you are getting. Its equivalent to Pokerstars throwing in an extra $60 for each and every player that signed up for this tournament.

Currently there are only 24 players remaining so everyone still at the table is guaranteed at least $430. The top prize is $12,750.  The player “weaktight” from Las Vegas is currently #1 with over $50,000 chips. He/she has been dominating this tournament ever since I started watching. Mark Roland A.K.A “The Omaholic” is doing pretty good at #5.

If you don’t have a Pokerstars account already please use this link to visit the site and download the software. During the signup process use the special marketing code PAWSUB16. During the deposit process use the bonus code FDF1 (limited time only, ends January 1st, 2009).  This will not only earn you the largest first deposit bonus possible (100% up to $50) but will also allow you to play in the Pokerstars new player freerolls.

    Fulltilt’s Sunday H.O.R.S.E Poker Tournament

There is no overlay for this tournament and the prize pool is only $31,600 (which is still huge). There are however some pretty big names competing in this HORSE poker tourney. Nine Fulltilt Pro’s played in this tournament and if I am not mistaken each player that knocked out a pro will receive their buy-in back regardless of how they did in the tournament.

With only 158 total players in this tournament that gives everyone a good chance of at least being in a position to knock out one of these pro’s.  The professional players are doing pretty good tonight with 4 still in out of the 53 players remaining in the tournament.  The top prize for this tourney is just under $10,000. Here are the top five players as of right now:

    • dfunks222
    • dgang
    • Aaron Bartely – PRO
    • Shah77
    • Michael Craig – PRO

We can offer our readers a special bonus at Fulltilt. Use this link to sign up and during registration use the referral code HORSE600 for a 100% match on your very first deposit up to $600.
