H.O.R.S.E Poker Championship Today – FTOPS XVII

The first mixed game event in this year’s Full Tilt Online Poker Series XVII will be a $500 buy-in H.O.R.S.E Poker tournament with a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool. This tournament will start at 21:00 ET, roughly in about 2 1/2 hours. Currently there are only 108 registrants so the overlay now stands at $146,000. With so little time remaining this event is likely to have an overlay of around $100,000 when the tournament starts. That means each $500 buy-in is really worth $1,000!

I just checked the player list and there are 8 professional players competing in this event and more will likely sign-up within the next couple of hours. This will be the largest H.O.R.S.E poker tournament in recent history.

This event will be hosted by Svetlana Gromenkova, a well known player from New York. She is a WSOP bracelet holder and has cashed in 19 major offline poker tournaments. If you knock her or any of the other Full Tilt Pro’s out of this tournament you will receive a $200 bounty.
