Absolute Poker has recently updated their VIP rewards program. The new program is called FAME and is one of the most comprehensive poker rewards systems currently available. First of all, Absolute Points are the player reward units at Absolute Poker. As you earn more, you climb the FAME status ladder. By working your way up the ladder, you will unlock more and more exclusive Absolute Poker benefits, and your points will never expire. You can earn points by playing real money poker at Absolute on the cash tables and in tournaments, but unlike other online poker rooms, Absolute Poker offers Blackjack, and you can earn points playing Blackjack, as well.
There are five levels of FAME: bronze, silver, gold, platinum, and diamond elite. All players are automatically in the bronze category when they sign up. To move up, just earn the number of points required of each level every month. Silver is 50 points; gold is 500 points; platinum is 2,500 points; and diamond elite is 10,000 points. Your status will reset each month, so in order to maintain your status level, you’ll have to continue earning the point requirements every month.

Once you get into the platinum level, the rewards really start to pay off. Here you will receive exclusive invitations to satellite tournaments, a 4 X point multiplier, $250 cash redemption for points, a 10% discount in the rewards store, and access to your own VIP host via chat, email, or phone. The diamond elite level offers exclusive benefits such as VIP treats, a 5% account balance bonus, VIP concierge services at live events, a 5 X point multiplier, and $1000 cash redemption for you points.
Once you’ve racked up all those points, you will have three ways to spend them. First, you can go shopping at the Absolute Rewards Store for merchandise such as a Playstation 3, apparel, jewelry, and more. Your second option is to recycle your points by buying into tournaments, where you can win more cash and in turn, win more points. Look for the “Points Only” tourneys in the poker lobby. Finally, your last option is to cash in your points for cold hard cash that is available in your account for play or withdrawal.
